Gluten-Free Baked Apple Banana Donuts

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

1 cup almond flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp cinnamon, 2 medium mashed ripe bananas, 8 oz. of MOTTS unsweetened applesauce, 1/2 tsp lemon juice & 1-2 tbsp pine nuts

Steps:

Heat oven to 350 degrees if using a mini donut pan and 375 degrees if using a pan for larger-sized donuts. Combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Add bananas, apple sauce and lemon juice. Gently fold ingredients until combined being careful not to overstir. Pour mixture evenly into a greased donut pan. Top each donut with pine nuts and bake for 15-25 minutes.

Tip: Use toothpick test to determine if donuts are ready. The toothpick should come out clean with a few moist crumbs on it.
